I Thessalonians 4:13-18

Verse: I Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Title: Will you count me in Lord?
Message: Jesus will come the second time around, that's certain. And each of those who has faithfully followed him will be brought to the Father's kingdom and live with Him to eternity.
Promise to Claim: Jesus knew us all. He recognizes both the believers and the nonbelievers and its our belief in Him that brings Him glory and will let us be counted in the swarm of mankind who'll be spending forever with Him.
Command to Obey: Let us encourage each other to live in the way God has always wanted us to. Mind these words and we will never go astray.
Warning to Heed: Hopelessness and grief will come to those who are heedless of Jesus' return.
Application: Minding the return of Jesus will be my inspiration to continue living and doing His commandments despite all the troubles. The latter part of 2017 was a challenging time for me. However, his guidance and provisions made me survive. God has never neglected His duty despite the fact that I've been doing otherwise. He faithfully keeps His promise; thus, I'll do the same. I pray that I'll be able to keep it.
