Kuhala Bay Resort;a SOUGHT-AFTER venue

Choosing a venue for our yearly spiritual activity has always been a burden. A lot of things such as cost, accessibility and accommodation are to be considered. These considerations have brought us to different places like Baguio, Batangas, Laguna and others, made us see distinctive sceneries and gave us the opportunity to experience various kinds of accommodation.
Among the venues the one which we appreciate the most is the Kuhala Bay Resort, a four star resort in Cardona, Rizal. This has been the regular venue for our retreat for five consecutive years. Why? Simply because:

  1. the location provides a relaxing view of the lake surrounding it and the amazing sight of sunset as dusk envelops the place;

2. the steep driveways, the long and winding staircase up to the gazebo give us challenging morning jogs;

3.the  palm trees with its colorful fruits and the native plants which seem to be unattended yet bear  strikingly beautiful  flowers  unceasingly amuse us every time we see them;

4. the comfortable rooms and toilets which are regularly cleaned by the housekeeping staff make us feel at ease and momentarily forget all the troubles outside;

5. the elegant halls make available of the space we need for worshiping and glorifying God and  have been silent witnesses of spiritual renewal and salvation among students since the day we started holding retreats at the resort;

6. the soothing wind at the gazebo offers everyone a chance to look back and reflect on a day’s experience;

7. above all, the excellent service extended by the very accommodating staff as they are approached for assistance and serve mouth-watering dishes every mealtime, the kind which nobody would refuse to eat.

As the retreat concludes, students and faculty members leave the place physiologically and spiritually full, thereby, making Kuhala Bay Resort an ideal place for spiritual activities.
