We had our DepEd-FAPE INSET at Lyceum of the Philippines, Laguna. Since Taytay, Rizal is approximately 60 km from Calamba, Laguna, we settled on occupying a room at Angel’s Nest Drive-Inn Hotel in National Highway, Barangay Turbina, Calamba, Laguna. The fee was P1,400.00 per 12 hours. The room was good for six persons and there were five beds available, two bunkbeds and a bed for two.There was an air conditioning unit which barely functioned for despite its presence, we felt the heat outside. People in the place were not very accommodating and they seemed not to know each of their responsibilities. We had the room reserved as early as 10:00 A.M. but when we got there at 7:30 P.M., it was not ready for use yet. Nevertheless, we got in the room and made a followup for everything we needed. And the worst that I will never forget about the place is that the staff gave us towels which look like this.
