1 Samuel 2: 6-8
“The Lord
brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The
Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. 8 He raises the poor
from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes
and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;
on them he has set the world.
on them he has set the world.
Title: God’s might
Message: God is the mightiest of all. This is what Hannah
concluded as the Father made her experience something amazing, indescribable. His
works are unfathomable that leave every witness in awe and that they eventually
become believers of Him.
Promise to Claim: What is impossible to men is possible with
God.
Command to Obey: Let us entrust all to God. Let us
communicate all of our concerns to Him through prayers. Let us seek His
guidance and provision of wisdom, strength, patience and other attributes we
need that we may survive each challenge that may come along the way as we
confront each of our undertakings.
Warning to Heed: God judges all our deeds. He forgives our
sin but never forgets the discipline we need.
Application: I will keep in mind God’s might that I may be
empowered in all that I do. I will depend on Him about everything in my life as
I act upon my responsibilities and duties.
